Keto Hoisin Tartar Sauce

Keto Hoisin Tartar SauceKeto Hoisin Tartar SauceKeto Hoisin Tartar Sauce. I decided to post this recipe for myself so I wouldn’t have to guess at the ingredients every time I wanted to make it. So make it or not, it is fabulous and I probably will never go back to my older Tartar Sauce again. There is always a catch and this one needs my Sugar Free Hoisin Sauce but since I always have that in the fridge to make Peking Duck anyway, for me it’s easy peasy so…for the win it’s keto hoisin tartar sauce.

I have made this with both dill relish and sweet relish and I have to say I personally like the sweet relish a lot better and Mt. Olive brand is available at Safeway I have also tasted several sugar free relishes and Mt. Olive is still THE best.

Keto Tiger Everything Dip

Keto Tiger Everything DipKeto Tiger Everything DipKeto Tiger Everything Dip pretty well spells out what it is in its name, and is another one of those things that I like to say is good on a brick…and it is that good. I am showing it as  kind of a tartar sauce dip with shrimp but it is also fabulous with all kinds vegetables which you may find in/on a crudités platter. It may sound a bit spicy but it is not with the addition of the sour cream or mayo. After you have finished with the Base and before the last addition of sour cream or mayo gives it a good taste because it is wonderful with meats of all kinds. So go ahead and at least try it because it is super easy to make and…good on a brick. Also great to dress a hamburger, dip Daikon Radish Fries & green beans into and etc., etc., etc.

Keto Cream Cheese Fondue

Keto Cream Cheese FondueKeto Cream Cheese FondueKeto Cream Cheese FondueKeto Cream Cheese FondueKeto Cream Cheese FondueKeto Cream Cheese FondueKeto Cream Cheese Fondue. This cream cheese fondue is the second fondue recipe on the site but honestly it is the easier, creamier of the two. Many people have trouble melting Gruyère or other traditional fondue cheeses so this keto cream cheese fondue is for you. Personally it is difficult to tell the difference and it’s what I am going to be making from now on. The ingredients are both piquant and what most people will have on hand or are easily obtainable. Though some of you will use keto cream cheese fondue to dip bread into, its primary purpose is to use it with sausages, vegetables, and yes, even pork rinds are terrific. It also makes a great nachos sauce using pork rinds and if topped with chicken or beef…a fabulous dinner.

  2. Best if left to sit for 10-15 minutes and if you need to reheat it a bit then just do it slowly while stirring.
  3. If you have leftover it will stay the perfect consistency and will not "harden" in the fridge.

Keto Carolina Meat Mop

Keto Carolina Meat MopKeto Carolina Meat MopKeto Carolina Meat Mop is dedicated to my friend Steve C. who lived in North Carolina until…he found the fantastic Kelly T who…just happened to live in Canada. He followed her to Canada at the beginning of the “Covid”, has not been able to return to his home, and I’m betting he misses a good Keto Carolina Meat Mop recipe. Really, he probably has his own because he makes soooo many pork dinners but one can never have too many recipes for something you love. Below are a couple of Steve’s pics of pork from his website www.diabeteswarrior.net.

Serve with Keto Coleslaw and this is a true Southern favorite. The recipe is for the meat mop only and to use with Pulled Pork see here. There are virtually no carbs and when served with chicken or pork, the only thing that changes are the calories as there are no carbs in either of those either.

  1. I used Tabasco Sauce because it is also vinegar based and in my opinion the best hot sauce for this recipe.
  2. As the butter cools it begins to coagulate so just mix it back in when ready to serve.
  3. You may be thinking that this looks extremely spicy but the butter cuts lots of it. It is really quite well balanced.

Keto Tonnato

Keto TonnatoKeto TonnatoKeto TonnatoKeto TonnatoKeto Tonnato and it kind of reminds me of the song; you say Potato, I say Potahto, you say Tomato, I say Tomahto…. Let’s call the whole thing off. Only we are not calling the whole thing off because this Keto Tonnato Sauce is literally to die for good. It was and is, traditionally served with veal in Europe (Italy originally)) but here in the good old USA we do not have much veal to speak of anymore as the veal police swept through and decided we shouldn’t be killing baby cows anymore. But the good news is that it is good with lots of other foods. It is really kinda, sorta like a “tuna mayo” if you will. The absolute success to any Keto Tonnato is using a good quality Tuna, packed in real olive oil, and I have shown two pictures of what I use. I have also shown it with veal but it is certainly not limited to it. Notably with chicken or pork scallopini, thinly cut pieces of either tenderloin or loin of pork, vegetables of all kinds which might include broccolini & green beans, and used as a dip with a crudités. When all else fails you can just take a spoon to it and…eat it.

Low Carb Tiger Sauce

Low Carb Tiger SauceLow Carb Tiger SauceLow Carb Tiger SauceLow Carb Tiger Sauce. I made this the other day on a whim and it was so good I decided to make it a recipe for you. Super easy and can be served with many meats. It is pretty spicy but the good news; there are no Thai bird chili peppers in it. I love spicy foods of all kinds but Thai peppers are a bit over the top even for me as I also want to be able to actually taste my food. I have shown this low carb tiger sauce it with a pork flank steak and then with a nice rare hanger steak and it was fabulous with both meals. I also have a sneaking suspicion this would go really well with eggs.

This recipe should now lead you to Keto Tiger Everything Dip which means you can dip just about anything and everything into it with…Shrimp leading the way.

Keto Vegetable Dip

Keto Vegetable DipKeto Vegetable DipKeto Vegetable Dip. It’s been a wild ride getting this into a recipe and here’s the story. I first made it just messing around in the kitchen but I liked it so much I made it again and knew it was a winner. Soooo first, as I made it several times I ran out of my frozen 3.5% Darigold Bulgarian Buttermilk cubes and needed to buy more. The grocery store where I had always gotten it was no longer carrying it. Ugh. OK and then, my computer had a rather large problem which took me about 3 weeks to finally get fixed. Lucky for me I have a dear friend who also happened to work for NASA as yes, a NASA scientist who fixed it quite handily. He works on the cheap for…guess what…FOOD. Meanwhile, I can’t find my old buttermilk anywhere. What to do? I PUNTED. I bought some dried buttermilk powder as seen in the picture above and began using that. Good grief, if you don’t have this stuff you should. At least for me it is kind of a miracle product and now I will use it for lots of stuff. My opinion: this keto vegetable dip will be the best thing you have tasted with…vegetables.

Keto Vietnamese Onion Sauce

Keto Vietnamese Onion SauceKeto Vietnamese Onion SauceKeto Vietnamese Onion Sauce. Most times when you see this sauce it is just some chopped green onions with cold oil poured on it, maybe a bit of salt & pepper and it’s called good to go. Well not this green onion sauce. This is actually a kicked-up version of keto Vietnamese green onion sauce and it is good on just about anything. I don’t most often use the white part of green onions but in this case I did. Keto Vietnamese onion sauce is best served at room temperature depending on what you will be serving it with (maybe warmed on vegetables) and I find that pork medallions or a good steak just can’t be beaten with this sauce. Probably best just left at room temperature. I think once you have tasted it, you will find it wonderful on all kinds of other foods, including vegetables. I ate a plain old salad with this green onion sauce as the dressing and it sure wasn’t plain as I ate.

Keto Lemon Parmesan Dip

Keto Lemon Parmesan DipKeto Lemon Parmesan DipKeto Lemon Parmesan Dip can be used equally as a dip or a killer salad dressing. Keto lemon Parmesan dip takes about 5 minutes to make and about four hours to “marry” the flavors in the fridge. I use it as a dip with low carb crudité veggies and yes, even as a salad dressing with the addition of olive oil and a bit of water to thin it . I guarantee it will not last in your refrigerator any longer that it will take you to use it. Try it on a sautéed chicken thigh~it’s to die for. With my own fried in lard pork pellets, Oh Yeah.

Keto Horseradish Dill Cream

Keto Horseradish Dill CreamKeto Horseradish Dill CreamKeto Horseradish Dill CreamKeto Horseradish Dill CreamKeto Horseradish Dill Cream. This keto horseradish dill cream is about as easy a recipe to make as I can think of and takes about 5 minutes at most. It is fabulous on fish of any kind and especially with lox or smoked salmon. It is quite piquant and does not take much to get a whole bunch of flavor. I also use it as a dip for chicken skins, shishito peppers, cucumber coins or anything else you use traditional crudité veggies for. It is just a winner all around if you like horseradish. Also fabulous on a salad as dressing and of course again, with any fish.

Keto Caramelized Mustard Cream

Keto Caramelized Mustard CreamKeto Caramelized Mustard CreamKeto Caramelized Mustard Cream.  I have pretty much always said that a sauce can make the meat, and this keto caramelized mustard cream is one of  those sauces. I have shown it with a beautiful black peppercorned pork rib chop and it is equally as comfortable with a steak, fish, and chicken. It’s really is an all-bases-covered sauce. I put it under the chop so you could see the gorgeous cracked peppercorn crust (which not only tastes incredible but also keeps the meat moist) but it’s easily comfortable smothering a piece of meat so, top or bottom, your choice.

In case anyone is wondering what that beautiful stuff with macadamia nuts on it is, well, it’s a Keto Bacon Broccoli Salad with everything but the kitchen sink in it and…it’s super easy to make.
