Hi Judith,
You can always use any sweetener that works for YOU and yes, almond butter instead of peanut butter is OK too.

I made these today and they came out very good. I also cannot find allulose so I used a golden erythritol/monk fruit sweetener and the Sucralose drops. There is no artificial sweetener taste at all. My husband likes them too and he is not usually a fan of low carb. I'm diabetic so it is nice to find something we both like. I used almond butter instead of peanut butter.

Hi Marcia,
Assuming you got the stronger of the two EZSweetz that are available, I would use about 3 Drops per cup of flour. That is the ratio I use in the bread recipes. You might want to try less-may-be-better and go from there but the bread has no hint of sweetness.
Sorry to hear you can't get Allulose but we all do with what we have.
Hope this helps,
Deborah

Hello,
I've just purchased carbalose flour and EZ Sweet based on your recipes. I too am not fond of many sweeteners - I especially like EZ Sweet. Questions: Do you have a ratio of flour:EZ sweet to get rid of the bitterness you talk about, ex, 1 cup flour to ___ drops EZ Sweet?

I cannot purchase allulose in Canada (it is not approved) and I believe it will be intercepted if I order from USA tho I am still inquiring trying to purchase it. For now, unfortunately, I am using sugar substitutes that I am not fond of as I believe I do need some "bulk" to recipes vs liquid EZ sweet for them to turn out.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
