Deborah is suffering from narcissistic rage. Years later, Deborah still has a burning desire for revenge, retaliation, and the compulsive need to vengefully repay no matter what it takes or costs, or the financial losses. That's the central characteristic of narcissistic rage. Those fiery, often overpowering emotional reactions can sometimes get so intense as to precipitate a major depressive, manic or even psychotic episode ("madness"), causing clinically significant temporary impairment of perception, rationality, judgment and impulse control.
Julian's Bakery initially appreciated being made aware of the inaccuracy of their nutritional claims, as would any business owner with true ethical values. After the inaccuracy was completely corrected and resolved (Deborah's own account after that was grossly inaccurate, misquoted, misjudged and false), Deborah's emotions headed out of control and into psychosis episodes. This is known as Pathological anger, or Runaway Rage Epidemic or Intermittent Explosive Disorder. It is an inability to resist aggressive urges. Individuals with this disorder often verbally assault others, and react in ways that are entirely out of proportion to the provocation. Pathological anger and rage can manifest in many ways, including chronic resentment, embitterment, hostility, hatred, temper tantrums, rage attacks, and verbal abuse. Sometimes even murder. Such outbursts of rage and violence are grossly out of proportion to any precipitating psychosocial stressor, and tend to result in negative consequences not only for the unfortunate targets of these violent assaults but also for the easily enraged perpetrator. According to one study by sociologist Ronald Kessler at Harvard Medical School, this particular anger disorder is on the rise, and may be present in more than fifteen million Americans. And this is only the proverbial tip of the iceberg. We Americans are in the midst of an anger epidemic that poses a very real and perilous public health threat. Which it is believed that is what recently took place in the Riots/Protests in Charlottesville, and so much grossly out of proportion rage towards President Trump.
What originally started out as Deborah's legitimate pursuit for the company to be liable and responsible and to correct their incorrect nutritional claims, then turned into Deborah's continual harassment and bullying towards the company and it's owner. Deborah then started to take revenge and be vindictive and falsify her information to the point that she had significant impairment of perception, rationality, judgment and impulse control. She was in denial of the true facts. So yes, Julian Bakery was in it's legal and ethical right to protect itself from further damage done to their business, personal lives, their own family by a compulsive narcissistic scary person. They should have not dropped the lawsuit.

Julian Bakery Smart Carb #1 bread is still to this day by far the best tasting bread I have ever had, and I am so sad it is no longer available. I have digestive issues and this bread healed me. As long as I ate this bread I had no digestive issues, and it had the best taste by far of over 25 other breads I tried. I am not diabetic or even close, so I bought this bread for the pure health benefits, and not for the low carb value, as I am a healthy person except for digestive issues. I feel very badly for those who bought the bread for the low carb value and suffered spikes in their blood sugar. Companies need to be held accountable for their claims.

I am a Home Care Nurse, and I bought this bread for my diabetic clients, which I tested their blood sugar levels 4x a day 5 days a week and never saw any difference at all, so it obviously doesn't affect every diabetic. I also made sure they had a lot of protein with the bread, so that does help. Everyone I worked for after a few months were able to either totally go off insulin or meds because of the low- glycemic, high-protein diet plan.

I gave away that bread to so many of my family and friends, who loved it and started buying it. I have bought 100's of loaves of the Smart Carb #1 Bread and never experienced any mold or any odd taste as it was delicious always. I always purchased that bread from Mother's Market in Orange County, CA, but many of my friends bought it at Whole Foods most of the time. Mothers Market always kept it refrigerated, and since the store is always jam packed with shoppers, there was a frequent turnover of fresh store products. I always kept my bread in the refrigerator and used it within a week, and I personally wouldn't trust fresh bread without preservative to be shipped unless the company gave an upfront guarantee of a fresh shipment, or a complete refund.

I have inside information about Julian Bakery and how they changed the way they testing bread, just as soon as they found the mistake. They have sincerely done everything to change either the ingredients or the packaging claims, but then there were those who cannot let go of their anger and resentment and sought revenge made false claims after the company corrected their ways. In regards to Julian Bakery taking down bad reviews on their Facebook page ... everyone is SUPPOSE to delete complaints and harassments! Facebook says right at the top of the page "SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS"... that does not mean destructive comments seeking to ruin someone. Take your hatred elsewhere. Facebook is not a venue for complaints, harassment, arguments, combativeness, criticising, demeaning, or any other negative destructive lashing out ... period! Problems must be handled by legal means, along with posting complaints on appropriate sources for that purpose. People often, including myself, go to the BBB website to let them know of a wrongdoing, or to get info on a product or service before I pay for it. But for someone to seek out with such fury to punish, to take revenge, and sabotage someone's business after they made a sincere mistake and corrected it, is downright evil. Someone else's Facebook is not about YOU, or YOUR nasty derogatory, hateful, poisonous attacks. Facebook is about the OTHER person or business ... and most everyone agrees to this. Facebook is not a place to pick fights or condemn or criticize or expose someone's wrongdoing. People who use Facebook for that purpose are very immature and possess a spirit of combativeness. They need to find another venue and outlet for their anger. Julian Bakery did nothing purposely wrong. Their mistake was made known and dealt with and for a person to keep on punishing them for their mistakes and be so vindictive is very scary. I know the whole story....every bit of it and all the legal papers too I have read. I have taken the time over the years to sent close to 80 letters to Whole Foods, the BBB, and many others, so that recognition could be given for Julian Bakeries ethical stand to make all changes necessary to provide honest, healthy products with tested and clear claims, and they were recognized for that finally. I have close friends in upper management at Whole Foods World Headquarters in TX so they recognized the changes Julian Bakery made and were able clear up the false claims.

Being a person of unforgivingness, revenge, and hatred, is a very destructive way to live ... for others and yourself as well. Your anger and resentment and vengefulness has cost your reputation with many. I hope you can turn from your ways, and in your rightful quest to try and make companies accountable (we all should ... but with the right spirit), but to do it with utmost integrity, and hope for the best of others, and forgive, and let go of hate, and the seeking of revenge.

I've read several websites on this type of stuff. As a business man who deals with competitors, sites like this and a few others really sound like competitors trying to trash a brand's name. I mean come on with the sensationalism? I can make low carb bread too with coconut flour and egg whites, it's not like it's impossible.. And the whole paleo wrap controversy? Do you know how many brands make regular wraps? As if one company can monopolize and control a type of wrap? lol? I'll buy whatever is cheapest and has the best ingredients. I could careless about you running julian bakery from the back of your pickup with chains
